When I learned my only child was having a child, I was simply put, terrified. Terrified, for many reasons: First, for her well-being and health, Second, the health of the baby (gender unknown), and Lastly, that I was going to be a grandmother.
I am by no means your Aunt Bea stereotypical image. At 51, I have not yet become that invisible woman, that goes un-noticed. I have always been considered somewhat attractive and was considering an international move at this point in my life.
When Master Jacob was born, September 30, 2008, I was still under the mistaken belief that I would continue life unaffected by this small creature.
I was so wrong. More later on how Jacob makes me a better person.
